Jim Sheppard is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying Political Science and Public Policy. Jim currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Pittsburgh City Councilman Jim Motznik and as webmaster for the political action committee Motznik for District Judge. He also serves as the President of the Pennsylvania Federation of College Democrats, and is a committeeman on the Allegheny County Democratic Committee representing the University of Pittsburgh campus and surrounding neighborhood. Jim served as President of the University of Pittsburgh College Democrats for 2006-2007, proudly overseeing campus efforts to re-elect Governor Rendell and defeat Rick Santorum. He also was a founding member of the University of Pittsburgh Stonewall Democrats and helped host the 2006 National Stonewall Democrats Convention on campus. Jim also served on the University of Pittsburgh Student Government Board Diversity Committee.
